Zoho POS vs Nifty ERP
Aaah, Zoho POS is part of the Zoho ecosystem, but their pricing is per-user per-month and adds up quickly
Zoho has a huge ecosystem of business apps. If you already use Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, and Zoho Inventory, adding Zoho POS might make sense. But their pricing model is per-user per-month. For a retail shop with three cashiers and a manager, that’s four users. At $39 per user per month (or whatever their current rate is), you’re paying over $150 per month just for POS software.
Nifty ERP includes unlimited users in the one-time purchase. You can have one cashier or twenty – same price. The software doesn’t care. And the features are comparable – POS, inventory, purchases, reporting – all included.
Plus, Nifty ERP works offline. Zoho POS requires an internet connection. When Zoho’s servers have an issue (and they do – check their status page), your POS stops working. That’s not acceptable for a retail business. Nifty ERP keeps running no matter what’s happening with the internet or anyone else’s servers.
