Hoof, QuickBooks POS was discontinued years ago, so comparing it to anything is academic.
QuickBooks POS is dead. Intuit stopped selling it and stopped supporting it. If you’re still running it, you’re on borrowed time. No updates, no security patches, no support. It’s a ticking time bomb for your business.
Nifty ERP is alive, supported, and actively developed. The features are modern – offline POS, comprehensive reporting, purchase management, customer management. The interface is clean and intuitive. The one-time cost model is similar to what QuickBooks POS used to offer, but Nifty ERP is better in every way.
If you’re still running QuickBooks POS, please stop. Switch to something that’s supported. Nifty ERP is a natural replacement – same ownership model (one-time payment, local installation), but better features and active development. I helped a friend migrate from QuickBooks POS to Nifty ERP in a weekend. He wishes he’d done it years earlier.
